A recommended CPU is the $190 I5-4460 is pretty good, coming in at under $200. For lower cost GPU/CPU's I can recommend the Radeon R9 270X, it compares somewhat similarly to the GTX 770 (Which is what i have) and it costs $235.

You're probably going to need some type of upgrade to get better FPS. Sadly, you're going to be lucky to get 30 FPS at Minimum. Sad to say, but that CPU and a Radeon 5450 isn't that powerful. note: I have a dual monitor setup, though not using eyefinity or similar. I even downloaded RAMDisk to see if its loading issues, but I can't try that, the game is barely larger than my total ram, and the freeware ramdisk can't even go that high. I can't even reach Ubisoft's "cinematic" 24 frames. Nobody can play a game well at 20fps, which when looking over an empty but large battlefield drops to 16. I have no idea what to do to get this game to run right, and unless I do, I refuse to buy this. So it seems GPU is entirely pointless here. One guy with a gtx titan could not break 20. Online I found a guy with a hd4000 series getting 60fps, a guy with 7860 unable to break 30fps, and a 7850 that wont drop below 58fps. I have a Sapphire Radeon hd5450, and as I said, at best 20 frames. I have a friend running on an intel integrated 3000 at 1600x900, and he runs the game 60fps. This game's framerate is not even consistent between gpu's. I most I increased framerate to 18-20.īut you know whats also unacceptable? I searched for like 5 hours, I really want to play and buy this game. I searched online, and I tried half a dozen things, three of which were to.

I even dropped every setting to bottom and resolution to 1366x768 (i have a 1080p monitor).

Today some friends are forcing me to try it, and despite explaining I can't run it, I try again. long time past, a few months ago I tried again, to see if its been optimized, and I found if anything, a decrease to 11 frames. I waited til the first free weekend, and had money. I really wanted to play the game when it came out, but didn't have money. I'm an old fan of Age of Chivalry from when before this game came out, and so I had a lot of fun.
